i'm too busy to cook.

it's true. beans on a tortilla on a yellow plate. this was a recent dinner because i was just too busy and tired to cook. look at this! it's so yellow! when am i going to learn to cook something other than cans of beans or cookies? the holidays are coming...i'd better get it together.

weekend assignment: doodle yourself to sleep

i doodle myself to sleep. characters come out of my head to play when they think i'm sleeping. here are a few...including pudgy worm and whispering beak.

lists

i collect lists.

the rules: they must be found, they can only be given to me if the giver does not know the list-writer, i cannot ask anyone for their lists, and they cannot be handed to me by the person (or witnessed by the person) who wrote the list.

lots of people like tp. i like the list that includes a 'big fat hen'.

i am collaging my lists onto cardboard and adding paint and pieces from a donated wedding dress (silk and lace) to my project.

i made two 10x10" paintings today and put them up on etsy. i had one of my very best art days in months thanks to a well deserved day off. whew!
